Our Story
The entirety of my career has been spent helping others to unleash their academic and career potential: tutoring math, statistics and SAT/ACTs; being an undergraduate tour guide for The University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill; as an executive recruiter, placing C-suite executives; reviewing and editing their résumés and preparing those same executives for interviews; supporting my Columbia MBA classmates as a class career advisor; and, as the former Director of Operations for one of the nation’s largest test prep and admissions advisory firms, providing high school students with the tools to succeed.
OUR ONLY GOAL IS TO HELP YOUR STUDENT MEET THEIR GOALS
My goal has always been to maximize value and find that PERFECT fit for each student I’ve worked with — to ensure that I asked the right questions and, most importantly, really listened to make sure I helped narrow down exactly what they needed to help them succeed. Whether that is creating a targeted school list, brainstorming and editing essays to help a student’s voice come through clearly, reviewing résumés, preparing students for admissions interviews and finding merit and/or financial aid, we are here to meet your student’s needs and help them stand out from others.
WE ARE FLEXIBLE AND RESULTS FOCUSED. WE WORK WITH STUDENTS AT ALL INCOME AND ACHIEVEMENT LEVELS; FROM THOSE WITH IVY LEAGUE AMBITIONS OR THOSE WHO STRUGGLE IN SCHOOL-- AND EVERYONE IN BETWEEN.
While working for other companies and volunteering as an alumni interviewer for both Carolina and Columbia, I knew that I wanted to create a structured, yet personalized program to demystify this often overwhelming process for students.
